Power Steering Mounting Bolts Belt Tension Adjustment

The power steering pump is bolted to the intake manifold and must be disconnected. The 2 bolts circled in red in Figure 9 have to be removed. First, you will have to loosen and remove the serpentine belt by using the adjusting bolt in the blue square in Figure 10. The bolt in the middle of tension pulley will also need to be loosened. Remove the belt and inspect it for wear. I decided to replace my belt now. Once the belt has been removed, you can turn the pulley on the power steering pump to line up the access holes (in blue squares in Figure 10) with the mounting bolts and remove the pump.
