The stock exhaust on the left and the Banks Torque Tubes on the right. The Torque Tubes are stainless steel and line up properly with the exhaust ports in the block - a feat the stock exhaust manifold is unable to match.
This article only covers removal of the stock exhaust. Installation is the same process in reverse. The Torque Tubes come with a good set of instructions that include the pattern for tightening the bolts on the new headers. |
