| Adapter on the Throttle Body. | Filter and Intake. | |

Following the instructions that came with the intake, I use carb cleaner on the rubber adapter that mounts on the throttle body. You can't see the film on it, but trust me, you need to clean it. And inspect and clean the inside of the intake tube, but be careful not to use anything that will damage the painted finish.
Slip the adapter onto the throttle body and tighten it. But not too tight. Look at your throttle cable where it comes across the valve cover. It should be snapped into a plastic channel to hold it in place. The leg of the intake will go there, so pop it out. Slip the intake tube into the adapter and the leg should go right where the throttle cable was. You can reposition the throttle cable as you see fit. I just brought mine forward so the intake holds it in place. |
