The smallest hose on the canister has a short adapter of sorts before the 90° bend. Conveniently, the 90° bend piece fits directly into the canister. This was the one hose that is long enough, but I cut it so I could bond this part in place and then splice the hose back together.
I shortened the middle fitting by cutting both the fitting on the canister side and the 90° adapter. This connects to a short length of plastic piping that I'm going to cut in half and add a piece of flexible hose to extend it to the new location. And, finally, the largest hose can be replaced easily with 5/8 heater hose. |
