I pulled off the three hoses from the front of the EVAP canister. They're different sizes so there should be no reason to mark them. The canister is held on by one 13mm bolt at the front and a couple of rubber bushings at the back. Prying gently on the canister, it popped out of the bushings.
The mounting studs on the canister are no longer required and make it too tall to put the shelf back on so off they come. It turns out that the studs are hollow at the base. I sealed the small openings up with some black silicon sealant. |
