There are 4 bolts holding a shelf in place right up by the firewall on the driver side. Pulling the shelf reveals a deep rectangular area that appears ideal for storing the EVAP canister.
There are openings into this hidden compartment from the side and bottom, but they really don't provide ideal access. After a couple of test fits I decided to cut a hole in the bottom of the compartment. |
