| Remove the hub unit. | Remove axle and dust shield. | |
|
It takes a twelve point 13mm socket to remove the hub unit and release the axle from the housing. With all three bolts removed, the axle shaft, u-joint and hub will slide easily out.
The original factory seals look like the one in the picture below. On my first go round I had to get that old seal off the axle. This time I just need to clean up the shaft a bit. |
