 Maintenance 1998 TJ
Jeeps need love and care. The more the better. Here are some basic bits of maintenance info that I found I had to know.

Maintenance Schedule - What to do and when to do it.

Lost your manual? Here's the factory recommended maintenance schedule for your TJ.

Fluid Capacities - From engine oil to cooling system.

You know those fluids need changing. Now you know how much to buy.

Torque Specs - You need to know this.

Here are the torque specs for some of the commonly replaced or modified parts.

Differential Fluid Change - You need to do this.

Especially if you've been out playing in the mud puddles. I hate the smell of gear oil, but it won't take long.

Instrument Cluster Access - Changing bulbs or fixing loose connections.

The instrument cluster is famous for its poor connection. You can fix that problem easily and while your at it, replace those burnt out lights.

Blower Motor Resistor - When you only get heat or air in some fan settings.

The blower motor resistor controls the HVAC blower motor speeds. If your heater or a/c only work on some speeds or not at all, you could have a blown blower motor resistor.
