Rowher Trail

Posted Rating: Difficult
Review Date: July, 2010

Rowher Trail is in a fairly harsh environment and you'll have to keep a sharp eye to see much more than sagebrush. Yucca plants thrive in the California desert and they are abundant along the trail. In the spring and early summer they show off their white flower blossom which eventually fall and leave large hanging seed pods.

Again, depending on the time of year you visit the trail, there may be wild flowers in bloom. There are lots of small white flowers that grow close to the ground, larger yellow flowers along the sides of the trail and occasioanal explosions of lavender that highlight the hillsides.
