Rowher Trail
Road 6N07 sign View of the trail
The sign at the easy entrance road. View of the trail ascent from Bouquet.
Like most trails I ride regularly, this trail is north of Los Angeles. Exit the 5 freeway at Valencia Blvd and make the turn to head west into Valencia at the bottom of the off-ramp. After a few miles you will come to Bouquet Canyon where you need to make a left turn. About 8 miles along Bouquet Canyon you'll see the Welcome to Angeles Forest sign and pass a couple of ranger stations. At about 10.2 miles road 6N07 goes up to the right and back toward the way you just came in. This is one of the 2 easier ways to get started up the hill, but this would be the longer way in. At about 15 miles into Bouquet Canyon you start the ascent up to the reservoir. You are almost there. You'll soon see the trail carved into the side of the mountain ahead of you, off to the right. At 16.4 miles (GPS: 34°34.569N x 18°22.461W) you should see a wide spot on the right that has a lot of room for a few trucks to air-down. If you look hard you'll see the small sign marking the entrance to the trail.

The Rowher trail sign at the entrance. The trail goes down before the ascent.
