Monument to Keysville Keysville General Store
Monument to Keysville. Original Keysville General Store.
Reassured by our new friend from the BLM, we head back to the paved portion of Keyesville Road and continue towards Keyesville. Our new friend says he lives there and we'll see a monument to the original town of Keyesville up ahead on the right. We had to stop for a picture and to read the propaganda. There's a diagram of the original town showing the locations of all of the buildings including a general store that is still standing and a brothel that is not. Interesting, but not a big draw with the tourists.
